Poetry Through the Generations: Shifflett, Seckinger, and Pedé

I was blessed with two wonderful grandfathers who were both incredibly talented in their own unique ways. One thing they shared was that they were both poets and each had collections of poetry. I began writing poetry when I was about 13 years old, and began dictating stories from the time I was about 3 years old. It’s in my blood. I inherited this gift from my maternal grandfather, Raymond Maddox Seckinger, and my paternal grandfather, Lt. Col. Wallace H. Pedé.
